Humpis where a trader family that wormed their way up into society after aquiring wealth in the reinissance. Originally creatively and variably written Huntpiss, Hundtpiz, Huntspisz and the like you dont know if the dog was supposed to haven bitten their forbearer or reliefed itself, or what kind of cruel slur at their cost this name was....... anyway they became to migty for such musings, in several branches they ruled over areas of the Allgaeu and the Linzgau. Anyway they where something like the Fugger, just a bit to the west, in Ravensburg.
