Ship Propeller / Schiffschraube

This park ornament once belonged to the fascinating MF Schussen, the last Romanshorn-Friedrichshafen traject ferry able to transport also railway and not only cars that was disassembled in 1983. Why Immenstaad got this piece I do not know the history. Friedrichshafen got the whole superstructure that sits behind the wharf and serves as a restaurant.

Propeller or not, I don't think that rock will float ;) =P

Nice find and capture!

Why on earth they attached it to a rock I do not understand either. Perhaps to keep it safe from metal thieves or just mere idiots trying to lift it and drag it a few metres??
