Saint Anthony Fountain at the Pig Market / Antoniusburnnen am Saumarkt

From the 1980's is this funny fountain without a real rim. It is designed as a puddle in the square where the saint cools his feet and the piggies play. Again, in winter left dry of course. / Aus den 1980ern ist dieses witzige Wasserspiel ohne begrenzenden Rand. Eine schlichte Pfuetze im Platz wo der Heilige ein Fussbad nimmt und die Ferkel spielen. Natuerlich war auch dier Brunnen fuer den Winter trockengelegt.

Most of the towns people and tourists seem to love it, at least the website of the city is very proud of it and I know nobody personally who hates it, but there are of course several articles on how this is most offensive kitsch, especially on a square where in old times real pigs destinied to become sausage and roast where driven to be sold off and for sure suffered much stress....
