They're soooo cute when they're little.... Much more so than domestic porkers ;) And the sows are vicious when they have little ones. You don't want to be anywhere within perceived threat range, let me tell ya! They'll tree ya for hours.... LOL!

She could not do anything to me. I was uphill from a double fence that keeps people from feeding the pigs and the pigs from harming people, she was uphil on the next ridge inside the big enclosure.

We got problems with roaming free boar however increasingly here, finding lots of marks of their activities in forested parks with recreational facilities near cities. But not many like to show themselves during daylight hours as the enclosure animals do, in the last one and a hallf decade I had about 5 sightings of free boar and most of those from very far or near the blue hour in dull weather.
