The RSA Liverpool Branch, were delighted to extend a warmest welcome to Major S Quayle AGC(SPS) - RAO(V)33rd Signal Regiment(Volunteers). Major Quayle joined branch members and friends for their Annual Christmas Dinner.
The event this year was held on Saturday 2nd December at the Aintree Barracks long Lane Liverpool.
We had yet another entertainment packed itinerary which consisted of; gathering in the Sgt's Mess to enjoy pre-dinner drinks, with light refreshments and piped music to set the mood. At 20:00 hrs we were ushered down to the Drill Hall for a most enjoyable Christmas Dinner. During which time we were entertained with a number of piped Military and Christmas tunes.
It was then back up to the Sgt's Mess; for the eagerly awaited raffle draw. Prizes had been donated by members of the branch. We were then entertained by live music kindly provided by 'Ron Calland' who entertained us with his vocal and guitar talents’ well into the small hours.
Our thanks go to, Major S. Quayle for joining us, Maj A.McFarlane for allowing the Branch the use of the Barracks and all those who volunteered their help and support towards achieving a most enjoyable evening.
Another good time was had by all.
