[ Photo :: Thought ]
Located at Mohamed Sultan Road in the River Valley Planning Area. "Temple on Phoenix Hill", it is by far the oldest surviving Chinese temple in Singapore. History dates its origin from 1829 on Tras Street in Tanjong Pagar, and 1913 on its current site at Mohamed Sultan Road. Would be looking forward to visiting it again...

On the signs at its gates, the year listed is "1836", and is one of the many historical monuments of Singapore.
