Film: Fuji Provia 400X
Subject: Bonsai Garden
Environment: Outdoor (Day), Cloudy (rain clouds)
Shutter: "N" (1/60)
Aperture: Partial sun (f/16)
[ Why I did it ]
Time to take more greenery... Plus, I don't wish to waste a color slide on dull urban colors, when I could get more (color) saturation from nature (even if it's man-made)... It was a quiet day (due to the rain). However, I still had to wait for the shot due to the strong winds (1/60 isn't a really fast shutter)...
[ Photo :: Thought ]
A short anecdote first; This shot was missed out from the first scan and I had to take it back to have it scanned. Found out that the 120 (film) scans are usually cropped, to get rid of the black border/frame. Was asked if I would like to do the cropping myself and I said, "Yes.". Turns out that I preferred some shots with the border, looks frame-able... :D Tunnel vision that is squared...
Thanks for reading the above anecdote, now for the picture. A bit under but presentable nonetheless. Love the way the subject is captured and framed. Still have not figure out the reason behind the red flare (top of picture)...
There are quite a few shots in this roll that were veering for "Shot of the Roll" but this shot won for its uniqueness...
