A piece of a fallen tree, shot at night (time exposure) using a candle to "light paint," giving an almost HDR effect. This was an assignment for a photo class I took in 2010.

Yep, I noticed you admiring (as I have) some of Paulo's abstracts.

Just to confirm, I was NOT being sarcastic, it's a great picture.
