This is a redo of an earlier experiment in "focus stacking" using hugin. For this version, I sloped the letters from lower left to upper right (thanks for the suggestion, littletank) and lighted the scene so as to accentuate the reflection of the tiles in the glass table. I shot against a dark background so the halos around the tiles would be less noticeable.

Great example of the use of Hugin but also an image with punch. I suppose the halos are inevitable. If you really wanted to you might be able to do a bit of touching up and get rid of them.

Brilliant work! My only quibble is that I wish I could see the full reflection of the "G" tile. But that's an easy fix (if you wanted to do it).
