If that factory is as old as that rusty "tub", it's a very old factory indeed ;) Nice capture!

The factory was built in 1934 to replace and older one built in 1917. At the time, this building was "the largest concrete house in Iceland". "The factory operated until 1954, but today it serves as an exhibition building." I read somewhere that the boat was moored to serve as extra accomodation for the workers of the factory at the peak of its activity.
