One of the oldest cities in India is the city of Kolkata, located in West Bengal in the eastern part of the Country India .The eastern Part is situated on the eastern coast of the Bay Of Bengal and Chotta Nagpur Plateau and on the Indo Gigantic plains , Kolkata is also known as the British capital of India . Kolkata formerly known as Calcutta is also the capital of West Bengal .
