This is the famous Melbourne Wheel that had structural problems after extreme heat and wind. The spokes have been taken off and only the hub and supports are standing. This should have been the answer to London's wheel.
Still, I was intrigued by the engineering and took some photos and stitched them to come up with this. Even without the spokes it is a beautiful and impressive structure. (at least to me)Edit |
