▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 135 East 57th St. @ Lexington Ave., Manhattan, NYC, NY. ✎ The 31 story curved granite office building was completed in 1987 to the design of architect Kohn Pedersen Fox. In front of the building sits the tempietto -- a tall, open ring supported by columns -- over a circular seating area with side fountains. The ring obviously ties in with the curved arc of the tower's main entrance façade facing the plaza and was left open to afford dramatic, framed views of the tower.
