✎ French Renaissance-style mansion constructed in 1898 by a renowned architect C.P.H. Gilbert for a railroad investor and banker by the name of Isaac Fletcher. Harry F. Sinclair, founder of Sinclair Oil Company, bought the mansion in the 1920′s and sold it only ten years later. Regardless of his relatively short stay in the mansion it has retained his name to this day. The mansion is now home to the Ukrainian Institute of America but is also known as the Harry F. Sinclair House.
