A nice blossom. Are there any intensive red ones like this in nature?

While there are naturally occurring pink dogwoods, these darker pink (some call them red) varieties are all hybrids and not found in nature. This hybrid in particular is said to be more disease & drought resistant than naturally occurring dogwoods....
