✍ On the invasive species/noxious weed list in Pennsylvania. Efforts to control and/or eradicate the plant have been largely unsuccessful however. Despite its status, it is an invaluable resource for pollinators and berry-eating wildlife. And oh the intoxicating, wonderful scent of the blossoms..... Irresistible! The berries are also edible for humans, by the way -- and they're delicious besides being very good for you =)
