Well planted, cared for and photographed.

I would like to take such a picture of/in our yard, but this spring the night frost has stripped the flower buds from the hydrangeas and of the appletrees as well. Due to the flower power in your albums, I think you are managing a full botanical garden.
Happy weekend, Remmelt

@Sonja.... The swan has a beautiful [& big] Pelargonium hybrid growing in it... Wish I had thought to switch it out [for the photo] with its twin which has a velvety bright red blooming Pelargonium in it so the blossoms would stand out better in the shot -- and add one more color of the rainbow to the scene. Ah well! Maybe another day or next year ;)

Never mind. I forgot to take a pic of my "Literal Pea-cocks" in full production, which is more embarassing. :o(
Got a bag Pisum sativum "Ambrosia" and matching ranking sticks ending in the cutest multicoloured metal birds for easter and it was not only funny but made also for great tasting green pods for the stir-fry, but it is to late in the year meanwhile to repeat planting and take a few shots of the whole setup in bloom.

Wow, well done on getting different pH levels to give you different colours on these hydrangeas Fiz. I like how it's referred to swan plumage by Sonja.

@MCJ... It's not pH levels in this case.... The white is white no matter what and same goes for the pink. The one in front with the multi-colored flowers is a true blue hybrid but it goes through stages of light green, pale pink & mauve before the flowers reach their mature color which is a pretty sky blue. I don't do anything to alter the chemistry of the soil at all --- there's no point to it as these are the colors they are through hybridization.

Anyway, I'm glad you like them =)
