▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Captured on the upper level of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge heading into Manhattan. 4 layer process ⇰ 1 original HDR photo with 2 original textures… ✎ Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge ↔ the 59th St. Bridge, connects the outer boro of Queens to Manhattan (midtown). The bridge's name was changed in 2010 in honor of former mayor Ed Koch, but most New Yorkers still call it the Queensboro Bridge -- the name change was wildly unpopular & petitions followed to undo the change. The cantilever bridge over the East River was completed in 1909 and underwent extensive & costly [$300 million] renovation between 1987-2012.
