✍ This method of watering (automatic 180˙ rotating pipe sprayers) is nice to look at but very bad for the roses. Most roses are very prone to mildew, rust & blackspot and this method of watering means most of the BBG's rose garden roses are defoliated from disease by the end of July. Phloxes & other mildew prone plants in the rose section don't look good by that point in the summer either. This method is also the most inefficient way of watering any plants.... Especially in a large garden.
