This lace plant is a kind of Philodendron. It has been growing here for about twenty-five years and I have only seen one other like it, although I have been told by a landscaper friend that they often grow on top of those dry-stacked lava stone walls in Hawaii. They don't need much water or light, and a cutting sprouts roots easily. We have another one in the kitchen over the sink and it goes back and forth along the wall over the sink about eight times. We have given several away to people we love.
