Thanks very much for your comments. I worked hard for this one. Determined to get some big wave pictures, but not ruin the camera, I created a quick shelter for both my head and the camera from a 5 gallon bucket. The rain was coming down hard and the wind was so strong I had to brace myself against something to stay still enough for the shot. After about two hours, a hole appeared in the clouds and spilled intense sunlight into the scene for about 45 seconds.
