Creeksong

Nice creek =) I'm sure the sound of its rush is soothing....

In the spring through fall, it babbles. In the winter, it roars like a cyclone, and our life somewhat centers around it because we draw our water there. You can see the white loop in the upper part of the image of the pick-up hose, now pulled out of the flow till the stream flows clear, again. This also protects the foot valve from getting smashed into the rocks in the bottom, from large boulders moving at the speed of the water, and the occasional 45-foot log coming through like a locomotive, smashing everything in its path.
