In Santa Cruz, there is only one person who does this. Every rock sculpture in town that leaves people with their mouth hanging open, is done by Michael Eckerman. We don't have to guess who creates them. The style and level of perfection is his person signature. I found this one as I left a party, this afternoon...

Skillfully made! There's a mansion in my neighborhood in Queens that this arch would fit perfectly.... Check it out .... How cool would it be over the walkway leading to that!?!?

His style is so easy to spot!

There was a big black post in the middle of the sidewalk, that spoiled the composition, so I removed it in post processing. (black post post processing) Did kind of an amateurish job remaking the shadows. I'm still learning how to use the software.
