Creeksong

At the time I decided to capture this, I was relating to it as a painting with food, enjoying the precise construction, the textures, the colors. At this point, they had not, yet gone into the frying pan. These were served warm, with a nice dark brown crust, with the cheese just melted into a single slab, and crinkle cut french fries on the side. Her,s had the aged, sharp cheddar, and mine had Old Amsterdam Gouda, and extra mustard. Not your average sandwich... or painting.
