It's so lovely, the tender sof colours, the backlight in the breaking wave and the sharp cormorant shape.... that would be poster-perfect with some quick use of a horizon straigtening tool.

Thank you for a point well taken. I think i was looking at the posts when I straightened, the first time, instead of the obvious necessity of a correct horizon. I have corrected the mistake and will repost. Thanks again for the help.

Poles in waterbodies have that naughty habit to go diagonally with age and then lead the photographer astray.... happens to me all the time, too. When I go to the harbour full of poles, chances are I produce a lot of hanging horizons to slide down on. But for a peaceful relaxing mood in a seascape, horizon is usually the priority. So the ruler is my best friend in the computer tool box. ;o)
