Where's the duct tape? Chewing gum wrapper?

The face plate on the electrical box looks very MacGyver-esque.

The duct tape is actually up on the seat back, holding the plastic sack over the spiced-in battery pack on the left. to keep it waterproof. You missed the chewing gum wrapper twisted around the fuse?

It gets worse... The manual controls are up: plug into the top receptacle, down: plug into the bottom one. No safety stops for limiting travel.Make sure to flip the switch before you hit the end of the track! A repair man smoked the original controls, but we couldn't afford to replace the unit at the time.
It lives on the back stairs, now, and carries sacks of dirt.
