If I tell him it's time for a bath, or even just think it, he goes and waits for me in the bathtub.
Banjo, who is a cross of Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog is the smartest of all the dogs I have known... and the nicest. He lives to please us and does well at it.
The cat food stays out all the time and he never touches it. He never goes off the property unless we put his red neckerchief around his neck. (That's his permission.) When we are on our morning walk he always goes to the side of the road and sits when a car approaches. He can always be counted on to not fight with or chase other animals.
Even the Ravens can trust him to just sit there when they are invited to approach the people. He does keep the raccoons away, as that is his job.
However, he now let's the skunks do just about whatever they want!
